This is an external drive, but, I have successfully removed a couple of 3TB WD drives from these MyBook enclosures and have them in my UnRAID server and functioning well.

Description does not indicate if the drive in the enclosure is 7200rpm or 5400rpm.  The 3TB drives I removed from these enclosures were green drives.
