April 25, 201313 yr Hello fellow unRAID fans! I've been looking fora new project, and recently a post here got me thinking. How would the community treat a plugin hosting site? It would be dedicated to unRAID, host the plugins AND the installable files. This way, when you find a plugin you know the URL's it points too aren't dead. I guess it would work on a user base, which means the users would create a profile, and upload their work, which they they share with the rest of the community. Is this anything the community would use? If it is, I'll start working on the project. Got a few ideas about the features of the site, which I'll talk to my partner, and the community about if people think it's a good idea.

The only type of site that makes sense is one with version management capabilities. Google.code works for some of us and uses svn. (You can add contributors and manage development) github works for others and provides similar capabilities. Personally, I'm waiting to see what Tom @ lime-technology does with a plugin manager. Joe L. Yes, Looking forward to that too. Fully integrated in the unraid environment, possibly together with a overhaul of the GUI ala Simplefeatures or a Synology or QNAP NAS. Maybe strechting it too far I guess.
