Frys store in Austin Texas. Did not check if Frys.com has same offer.

Question: Is this a good MB for UNRAID?

I did a quick search on the site and could not find a  definitive answer.

It might work perfectly it might not. Unless you can find success storys on the forum or wiki or at least look at chipsets etc you take the risk.

I don't think anyone's used this board in an unRAID build before so you'll essentially be taking a chance if you get it. Fwiw, the motherboard chipsets are supported in Linux and performance issues with the Realtek NIC seems to have been fixed.

I had checked the forums for the 945 chipset / Nic. The post appeared positive towards the chipset / NIC in general.

 

I have a few days to make a decision or look for better deals.
