June 21, 201313 yr I get the popup: unRAID Status The unRaid array needs attention One or more disks are disabled or invalid However all my disks have passed extended tests? Message happens at 1 minute passed the hour, and seems to correspond with this error in syslog (sorry if completely irrelevant, as it looks fairly irrelevant) : Tower sSMTP[20951]: Authorization failed (534 5.7.9 {WEBLOGINREQUIRED} fb2sm21275124wic.4 - gsmtp) (Minor Issues) All disks are under a year old, including a SNAP one - how do I know which to replace? I searched forum, so apologies if answer is obvious, but if disks all seem okay I don't want to have to buy new ones! Thanks.

It will tell you of the status of the disks. One of them likely has a "red" indicator. (it is the one that has been disabled because a "write" to it failed.) Attach a syslog to your next post for analysis. Instructions are in the wiki here: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Troubleshooting#Capturing_your_syslog and in the post at the top of the general support sub-forum: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9880.0 A failed "write" to a disk can be caused by a disk that is failing, or a loose cable to a disk, or a marginal power supply, or noise pickup from an adjacent cable. The clues needed to help determine what is happening are in the syslog. You may not need a new disk. Joe L.
