blingbling1384 Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Is it possible to use the CrashPlan plugin on the unRAID server to backup to a locally-connected USB drive (not a RAID disk) on the unRAID server? When I try to select the USB drive as a backup target after mounting it (/mnt/disk/sdd1), CrashPlan tells me "The backup engine does not have access to the given location." Is there any way to accomplish this? Trying to avoid having to backup to a USB on my Windows PC across the network. Link to comment
boof Posted November 14, 2013 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Check the permissions on the disk and that it's mounted read/write and not just read only. Sounds like crashplan can't write to the disk - can you write anything at all down there manually? Link to comment
