February 5, 201412 yr Been running for more then a year now an ubuntu OS running newznab on vmware desktop edition so i was hoping to be lazy and just export the vm and import in xen as usual i did some research but didn't really find something useful and also a lot of contradicting info one said to just rename the file to img and make a cfg file and it should run others say to use a special dedicated server to convert the ovf file with a special program... anyway didn't find something usable yet was hoping one of the guru's here had a clue?

Due to a lot of network, disk, CPU activity with a newznab app... I wouldn't run it unless it was PV (Paravirtual) Linux VM. 2. February 5, 201412 yr 1. Due to a lot of network, disk, CPU activity with a newznab app... I wouldn't run it unless it was PV (Paravirtual) Linux VM. Do you think PVH would be the way to go once that is stable and supported?
February 5, 201412 yr That is going to be a while. It's experimental in Xen 4.4 and so is PVH in Linux Kernel 3.14 (which isn't even out yet). For all we know, Tom may not be able / want to jump ahead to a Kernel that "new" for reasons that have to do with unRAID and it's core function... NAS. PV is smoking fast and I don't think we (home users) would notice a difference between PV or PVH.
