November 1, 200619 yr Well I am happy to say that I am up and running & have at least 150 movies backed up now. I have Swapped drives replaced the parity drive, made a small disc larger etc with minimal troubles and had tons of help from the forums here as well. I purchased my unraid pro keys today, and now I am happy to be a paying customer of this great product. I should point out that I had a great afternoon of support e-mail via Tom and his help was quick and painless - Great Job Tom. I am like a 7 year old getting his first thing of Lego for christmas. I have been waiting so long to get this ugly stack of DVD boxes out of my living room. About the Lego thing - they restructured and now say that they may "NOT" be able to restock christmas shelves with product this year heard this on the radio this morning. Happy unRaiding Regards, Dave in Canada
November 2, 200619 yr I would also like to add to Dave's positive feedback. I have used unraid for about 1 year now. I have seen the great changes in the past few months and wanted to say Thanks Tom! I just replaced my 300G PATA Parity drive with a 400G SATA. With 3.0 this is so easy. I formated the 300G PATA and the new parity drive is performing the sync. I love the shares and it makes life so much easier.
November 3, 200619 yr I setup my server last night and can honestly say, it couldnt be easier! I felt like creating my own thank you thread but this one does the trick. Thank you for this wonderful product that does exactly what I expect it to do.
November 4, 200619 yr Same here, 1TB of movies and now waiting for payday to buy another TB and upgrade from the free version. My unraid server has been on for weeks, no issue whatsoever... Great product.

November 6, 200619 yr ok maybe a dumb question but i didn't realize that you could mix and match PATA and SATA. how would i do that? Make sure you are on v3.0-final, stop the array, power off, add the drive, power up, stop the array, select the new drive in the drop down drive configure screen, start the array. Matt
