aitf311
CASE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16811119068 COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW ICY DOCK: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817186014 ICY DOCK MB123ARCK-B 5.25" ATA 133 I'm probably worrying too much but I've never made a system like this before! The ICY DOCKs have the clip that hangs over on the front. Will this interfere with positioning in a case like the one listed? I bought a case for $10 and it does its job for what I paid for it but I figure now that I have my server setup that I should try to protect the drives as best as I can. They are getting pretty hot in the ultra-budget case! Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
limetech
The case is not ideal because internally it's divided into a set of 5.25" bays and separate set of 3.5" bays. So you will need to add some kind of mobile rack or drive cage or something to mount your drives in the 5.25" bays and bolt them directly into the 3.5" bays. Note also the link in your post to the mobile rack is for the tray ONLY - what you need is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817186004 Quote Link to comment
