The Unmenu package manager is great for installing packages - but how does one go about *un*installing individual packages? Is it simply a case of removing the .tgz, .tgz.manual_install and .conf files for the package in /boot/packages ?

    That will only prevent them from being re-installed on boot.  A reboot would be required after removing those file to remove the package.
