Crashing

Featured Replies

My tower has been crashing randomly for the last couple of weeks.  It usually seems to happen in the middle of the night, but today it happened about 7:30am.  When it was happening in the middle of the night, i assumed it was something to do with the mover script, so I changed the mover script to run at 10:05pm.  This did not stop the server from crashing in the middle of the night.  After messing with some other randome things it took a 7 day hiatis and i assumed that something i did must have fixed the problem, but it seems to be back the last week.

I have attached my sys log and was hoping one of the resident geniuses could take a look at it and see if tells them something that im missing.

Im running Unraid ver 5.0.4

at which point your APCUPSD has started the shutdown sequence. There follow 5000 lines of SMART Reports, all PIDs are stopped and killed and the array successfully stops.

Is your UPS plugged into a Timer that's shutting off at 2AM?

When you go to bed, does turning off the light to the room with the unRAID array also turn off the power to the UPS?

soooo looking at the time stamps, it looks like the batteryies in my ups are dead (or almost).  right after it goes on battery power, its looks like its shutting down....am i reading this correctly?

Is the server off in the morning? Does it start a parity check when you boot it up?
