I need to expand my unraid server, and am thinking of using another external eSATA enclosure.  I currently use one with two hard drives in it, and speeds are good.

 

But my existing one is through motherboard eSATA, so to add another eSATA port I am hoping to use an old PCI express card I have.

 

Would 2 hard drives through this PCI express card on a single eSATA port be OK for speed (my current write speeds are about 30, and reads of 80-100).
