minor detail

Featured Replies

first off i just want to say what an AWESOME product unRAID is.  with that said - one really minor detail that would be nice to have in the unraid web interface is a little key at the bottom of the screen that shows each color indicator (green, yellow red...) and a description of what it means.

or even to set the alt text of the image next to each drive so when you roll over it, the tool tip will show the description.

is it possible for me to access this html file to add that simple line of code at the bottom?

I second this motion, but as to not clog up the interface, I think filling out the ALT and/or TITLE attribute on them would do the trick also

yea either way - just so there is some indication of what it means without having to refer to the documentation.

Added to the list:

"- Provide some help info with Management Utility, eg, using alt tags, etc."

any luck getting this into the interface?  if not as alt text on the images then perhaps just add the following to the bottom of the main page?

Green: the hard drive status is Normal

Yellow: the data contents of the actual hard drive are invalid. The parity disk has this status when Parity-Sync is taking place. A data disk has this status during Reconstruction.

Red: the disk is disabled.

Blue: a new disk not currently part of the array.

Grey: indicates no disk present.

Blinking: indicates the corresponding disk has been spun-down.

i know tom is busy with writable user shares and what not buthis seems liek a fairly simple thing - can it be added for the next release?
