Owncloud/HTTPS - help please?

Featured Replies

I have Owncloud installed with Dynamix's webserver and everything is fine except that I can't get it to connect with Https. Everything works fine over a plain HTTP connection but when I try to switch I have no luck. Is there an issue with https connections on Unraid.

I'm using 5.0.4 with very few plugins beyond Dynamix's gui and webserver.

Please help. I don't know what I am doing wrong

There is a setting in the ownCloud Amin page (Called Security) where you tell it to only connect using HTTPS.  You'll have to be sure port 443 is forwarded and you will need a security certificate.

The secuirty certificate is where I get lost. The setting on the owncloud admin page will only allow you to check it once you've made a secure connection which as of now I can not do. I've tried to find tutorials online for configuring lighttpd but since unraid is unique, the documentation is scare and I don't have any network admin experience. I could use some help on that side.
