usbbk usb-back kernel module

Featured Replies

im trying to pass through my usb from my unraid dom0 to my windows server VM.  My cpu/mobo (AMD 2419ee / h8dme-2) doesnt support pci passthrough so im trying a different method outlined here: http://doc.opensuse.org/products/draft/SLES/SLES-xen_sd_draft/cha.xen.config.html#sec.xen.vhost.usbback.pv

any idea how to get the usbbk module in unraid?

Assuming that it is not being included as standard by Limetech, then you would probably have to build your own kernel!

A better way forward might be to persuade LimeTech that this module should be added as a standard feature for new v6 beta builds.  With no idea of the implications of including the required kernel module I am not sure how receptive LimeTech would be to such a suggestion.

So i really havent been able how to rebuild the unraid kernel with the usbkk module.

Does someone have some information on rebuilding the unraid kernel or building new modules for unraid?

I have found the src here:

https://gitorious.org/opensuse/kernel/source/219b730a5b953488cd6cbc4aaca01d2a2b5566be:drivers/xen/usbback/usbback.c

But i dont see a make file or how this would really fit into unraid.

thanks
