    Just thought I'd post here to let folks know the plan for this feature is to merge in the APCUPSd plugin from dlandon (previously created / maintained by SeeDrs).  We thank dlandon for his work in migrating this powerful plugin to v6 and look forward to seeing it in the mainline OS itself!
