cyruskane
Using 6.0Beta10a Accidentally added "user share" for my /mnt/cache directory (before realizing i could share it using the share settings on the drive itself.) Now every folder in /mnt/cache shows up as a new user share. If i move the real folder, then delete the user share, it goes away, but it automatically re-creates user shares for any folder even new ones in the /mnt/cache directory.. Im not sure if I am explaining that well enough. I want it to stop creating new user shares automatically for the /mnt/cache folder. Does anyone know how to stop it? Thanks in advance. itimpi
All top level folders on /mnt/cache or /mnt/disk* are automatically made into user shares - this is built-in behaviour and cannot be changed. Link to comment
cyruskane
Okay cool. It is strange then that I had the cache drive running for like a week and it did not create those shares until i tried to manually share the cache drive. Thanks for responding. Link to comment
