I found an interesting little piece of hardware on newegg that might be something to consider:

If unRAID could be run off of this it would allow a nice little array to be built.

 

 

EDIT: I just realized that this does not have a Ethernet port or a USB port (no sleep makes kyle not read carefully).  Still would be interesting to see if it could ba made to run unRAID.

It looks to me like it does not have a CPU, memory, or motherboard either...  It is a case with a power supply and a set of drive trays bundled with an SATA controller. (and we do not know if the controller works under unRAID... It might... or might not)
