December 14, 201411 yr I'm having some issues with a 5.0 to 6b12 upgrade. I got logged in, but when I try to assign my drives to their spots (parity, data, cache) and start the array nothing happens. I can't start it in maintenance mode, and the log is empty. Any ideas?
December 14, 201411 yr Author This is what I see on the Array Operation screen: And I made sure to assign the correct drives to the array, parity, and cache.
December 14, 201411 yr Author Ok, solved that problem. I had forgotten to copy over the old 'config' folder to the flash drive. Now I have a new issue though. I still can't start the array, and it seems to be due to the 'Unclean shutdown detected' message. I have cleanly shut down and restarted the system from the management page, but to no avail. How do I clear this error? Trying to start the array in maintenance mode doesn't work either. All of the discs have green status lights.
January 9, 201511 yr Goto plugins tab and check for updates, make sure everything is up to date. Sometimes on an unclean shutdown with me, it seems to be unresponsive for a few mins and then it will finally start up and showing the parity sync running. Try the update and try again and be patient. Let us know! Good luck
