Question is, are there any guidelines for replacing? Is it as simple as plugging HDs in the same positions on the new board? Or do I have to clear and rebuild parity? Thanks Dan Link to comment
itimpi Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 It should be even easier than you mention as unRAID does not care where drives are plugged in (it recognizes drives by serial number) - just that it has the same set of drives in total as was previously the case. You can even change motherboards and/or disk controllers without impact. Link to comment
