this might be a stupid question, but i deleted everything in my packages folder and after reboot there are a bunch of stuff in there again. not an issue in and of itself but there are multiple different versions of the same program. is this normal? do certain plugins need certain versions or won't work?

4 python

2 powerdown

2 libpng

2 curl

Yes and yes

 

However, only one version at a time will be installed in unRAID, thus the compatibility problems plugins sometimes cause.
