Brian B.
So here's an odd thing: Set up two near identical N54L servers, one with Unraid 5.0.5 and the other with 6.0-beta12. (on 6.0 the drives are formatted XFS if that matters) My 10.9 Mac crashes when attempting to write to either a drive share or a file share on Unraid 6 when mounted via SMB. It has no problem writing (or crashing) with SMB on 5 or AFP on 5 or 6. I haven't had the time yet to see if this is also the case with OS 10.10, but will tomorrow. Anyone else seeing this? HellDiverUK
SMB is broken in OSX. unRAID6 uses a more recent version of SAMBA, which OS X isn't very compatible with. It has the same issue with Server 2012R2 and Win8.1 servers. Try Bootcamp and install a non-broken OS. Link to comment
