May 13, 200917 yr http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152101 I have two unRAIDs running with Samsung drives and have been VERY happy.
May 15, 200917 yr I have 5 of these drives. They seem to run fine, but the RMA process with Samsung is a total hassle. They do everything through a 3rd party (which info on is hard to find), there is no Advance RMA, and you have to wait ~1 month to get your replacement drive back. For this alone, I would argue that the extra $20 for the WD drives is worth it.

I had purchased a Samsung drive and was amazed at how cool it ran and was very happy with it until it failed. Even then, I can understand the occasional drive failing, but then I looked up the RMA process on their website. After reading the RMA process and cursing several times, I drove down the road and picked up a new WD drive. Western Digital by far has the best RMA process I have ever seen and I have used it several times for work and home.
