February 26, 201511 yr WD Red WD60EFRX 6TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" NAS Hard Drive Bare Drive $270 - $27 with code 15SAVEHDD2 = $243 http://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9b-22-236-737 I have a feeling that prices are actually rising for 4-6 TB mid-end (NAS-type) drives from WD and HGST... completely opposite to my intuitive expectations.
