Using an AMD and Nvidia card in the one build

Featured Replies

Hi

I currently have a Radeon HD 4850 / PCI-E 2.0 x16 that I am going to use to run XBMCbuntu or OpenELEC (I have tested this card and it works fine)

I am looking at getting a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 for gaming.

Would it cause a problem using both an AMD and a Nvidia card? (assuming they both work by themselves)

Thanks

Nope.  No problem.  I do a GTX 780 and HD 5450 on one of test systems!
