Feature Request - Option to allow SMART querying while drive in standby

Since I'm using WD drives exclusively and they seem to allow SMART queries while the drive is spun down, maybe it would be a good feature to have the option to have SMART data polled even if the drive is down.

This would avoid scenarios where the drives are getting too hot due to environment like fan failure even if they were spun down.
