August 11, 200916 yr Saw this case on sale at Newegg for $89.99 + free shipping with promo code (EMCLWMM59): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811215010 8 internal drive bays (via 2 x 4 HDD cages), plus an additional 7 x 5.25" slots, which I assume could be fitted with 2 x 5-in-3 drive cages for a whopping total capacity of 18 HDDs! The case also boasts a fan controller mounted on the front panel, as well as an LCD temp readout. What do you guys think?
August 11, 200916 yr I like the antec 1200. With 12 5.25 slots, there is a potential for 20 drives. I guess I am just slightly lazy. I don't do internal mounted drives any more.
August 11, 200916 yr Author The Antec 1200 is a very nice case, but the price difference (at least with the ABS case on sale) is quite large. Also, regarding the ABS case, I'm normally not a fan of side windows, but this mesh window seems to be tastefully done. I would expect this case to be a bit louder than something like the Antec 1200, but for $80 less, I think I could live with that. One of the Newegg comments claims that the ABS is a rebranded Lian Li case. Anyone know if this is true?

WeeboTech, would you know if the SuperMicro CSE-M35T 5 in 3 fits into the Antec 1200 case without having to modify the case (i.e. bending or removing the 5.25 shelves/guide rails)? How about the Cooler Master Centurion 590? Thanks.

How about the Cooler Master Centurion 590? It will not fit in the Cooler Master Centurion 590 without slight case modifications. I don;t know if I would bend the tabs or just nibble them off with a nibbler. http://www.crazypc.com/products/9140.html I don't know about the antec 1200.
