January 6, 200719 yr 500 Gig SATA Drives 139.99 at Newegg.com. Seagate or Maxtor. Choose wisely. Seagate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148108 - Ehem, 5 Year Warranty even on OEM. Maxtor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144016 - Same 5 years here. I have 3. I checked. And if you hate saving money AND hate having a reliable hard drive you can pick up the Western Digital for 149.99 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822136014 - Warranty?!?! HA!!

HA!! The Enterprise class WD (WD RE2 series) are the best drives I've ever owned (knock on the proverbial wood). Out of 24 working drives, a 50/50 mix of Seagate multi gen 400/500s (7200.8-.10) and WD Re 400/500s- I had to RMA 3 Seagates so far and no WDs!! Recently, I bought 6 maxtor 300s, two of them were DOA!
