While doing some maintenance on the server I did a reboot, system hung in the reboot causing me to hit the reboot button and now my array is unassigned. I forget what drive is my party drive is, anyway to dig through old config files to find it?

 

Any other ways to recover from this?

Assign ALL of your drives as data drives WITHOUT a parity drive.

 

Now Start the array ==> the drive shown as unformatted is the parity drive.

 

Now do a New Config and assign the drives properly.

 

... and in the future keep a saved Screenshot of your Web GUI that shows your drive assignments
