[solved] New to KVM World

Featured Replies

Hey All,

I'm a huge fun of dockers and have it running for all of my services, but I converted from ESXi with unRAID as a guest to KVM.  I have 2 Windows 2012 R2 servers and a handful of Win7/Win10 clients that I will be running for my home lab.  I want these to be on the same network as my unRAID box and the rest of my equipment.  I have a 2nd NIC installed and viewable as eth1 in ifconfig -a.  I've done some searching and see that brctl is what I want to use; I also see a great post a few below this one on how to setup KVM with 3 NICs.  Is it possible to have all of my KVM guests use the 2nd NIC that I have installed an be on my 10.10.10.* network?

Thanks!

You just need to go into the unRAID WebGUI and enable bridging for your network settings. No need for a second NIC.  You can all move past the newb now.
