December 21, 201510 yr Seems as though this type of issue has been posted previously but just looking for confirmation. Replaced 4tb parity with 5tb drive using swap disable method. Should have completed early this morning but upon checking it is going very slow 5MB/sec for the last 1tb. Lots of sync errors corrected (34million and counting) with now estimated two days remaining. Prior to doing his last parity completed without issue around 15 days ago. No drives showing errors and log looks normal as best I can tell. Is this a bug/known issue when doing swap disable to larger capacity drive? Should I let it finish or do something else? Any issues with writing to or using array /dockers / plugins during this process? Thanks!
December 24, 201510 yr Author so initial check took much longer (based on previous threads appears to be due to extra capacity not being zerod during parity copy); reran parity check and back to normal times / speed Dec 23 20:16:34 3 day, 9 min, 6 sec 19.3 MB/s OK Dec 24 11:56:03 14 hr, 32 min, 42 sec 95.5 MB/s OK
