January 30, 200719 yr This is the most exciting upcoming feature to me since it has the possibility of greatly simplifying how one interacts with the shares. How will the feature be implemented? Will writing to a User Share automatically write to the drive with the smallest amount of free space necessary to save the file so as to preserve contiguous space on other drives for larger files? Will folder creation, or copying a folder and its content, work inside a User Share? If copying said folder (or a batch of several files) requires more space than available on one drive, will it intelligently split the content over multiple drive or will I get an out-of-space error? Lastly, will it support having the whole un-raid presented as a user share with the individual drive shares hidden, giving the illusion and user-friendliness of a single volume share?
