February 9, 201610 yr Hey there I am trying to make my VM with a public bridge (br0) connect to the internet, with balance-rr in my network settings. I cant seem to get this work. The VM has an IP and connection to the router, but no internet connection. It shows up in my router too.. When i put the settings in active-backup, the VM gets a internet connection right away. What am i doing wrong?

But i don't think this is the problem, as the switch is seeing the server as 1 IP and 1 MAC adress, and i can transfer files from my workstation to my server. It's only the ethernet in my VM that doesn't work

And if i were to buy a new swich, which one would you recommend?
February 9, 201610 yr Try balance-alb. It does not require switch support and offers redundancy and load balancing.
