Launch vm Black screen

Featured Replies

So i have been working at this for about 20 some hours and i get to the part where i think everything is finally gonna pull through but it doesnt. when i launch my vm it goes black screen im guessing its not recognizing something but i dont think thats the case the unraid recognizes it and they are compatible cards no doubt just this black screen no launch very frustrating if anyone has any suggestions or knowledge on this please post it asap thanks

Some details would be helpful. What OS is your VM? Perhaps posting the XML might help too. What hardware are you trying to pass through? How many cores and RAM are you dedicating to the VM? Where is the VM stored, on the array or a cache drive?

Are you following the guid on how to create the Windows 10 VM? I don't have a link handy but if you search the site you should be able to find it.
