April 1, 201610 yr Okay, here's a question I couldn't pin down a concrete answer for. Here's the scenario: I have been using unRAID for a while and it seemed like a good solution for another network need. I lent my USB with license to my friends to test to see if the setup would work with their 8 drive server. They loved it and had finished testing a complete setup so they could make sure it would fulfill all their requirements. Now they are purchasing their own license and binding it to a USB UUID. My question is: When they shutdown the server and give me back my USB, will their array be recognizable and usable by their new USB unRAID? Or will they have to redo EVERYTHING again?

Basically, with your flash drive installed on their server, stop the array and copy all of its contents to another computer. Then copy those contents to their new flash drive and run the make_bootable script. The delete your .key file from their flash drive and copy their .key file to the same location.
