Hey all, I suspect this is an FAQ, but if so I can't find it. I am trying to assign a USB 3 hard drive to a VM, which is a media server running NetPVR under Win 10. It assigns okay, but in Win 10 I get the error:

 

Device failed to initialize (Code 10)

 

I've tried setting the device to managed=no, but no joy.

 

Is there a way to fix this?

 

If not, what is the easiest way to assign an entire drive to a VM? I want to do this as it is a media server that wants to use the drive for recording and caching live video, which isn't working on the array, and my cache isn't big enough to support this. Any other ideas?
