June 3, 201610 yr Author OK. Thanks for this. I upgraded to 6.1.9 I set my DNS 1= 8.8.8.8 & DNS2=8.8.4.4 I still receive an error: plugin: installing: https://github.com/dlandon/unassigned.devices/raw/master/unassigned.devices.plg plugin: downloading https://github.com/dlandon/unassigned.devices/raw/master/unassigned.devices.plg plugin: downloading: https://github.com/dlandon/unassigned.devices/raw/master/unassigned.devices.plg ... failed (Network failure) plugin: wget: https://github.com/dlandon/unassigned.devices/raw/master/unassigned.devices.plg download failure (Network failure)
June 3, 201610 yr Try rebooting... If it still gets nowhere, try setting the DNS to be your router's IP (eg: 192.168.1.1)
June 3, 201610 yr No idea... can't recall anyone else ever running into a "Network Failure" when installing a plugin. If you're behind a VPN, then disable it as some users have problems with installing plugins when using VPN. But, can you login to the server and try this: ping -c1 github.com Also, how did you upgrade to 6.1.9 - Manually or through plugins - check for updates?
June 3, 201610 yr Author OK. FIXED. Schoolboy Error (I make a lot of them) The Default Gateway was blank. I set it to my Router I.P address, and set DNS1=8.8.8.8, DNS2=8.8.4.4 Thanks for all your help. Very much appreciated.
June 4, 201610 yr More things for 'Fix Common Problems' to check for! Already catches that (but the suggested fix only suggests DNS, and not gateway -> will adjust)
