July 6, 20169 yr I cannot access my shares off my unraid server anymore. I could for the first hour and then all of a sudden I get a password prompt when just navigating to the IP in file explorer before I can even see the shares. Can you just reset the unraid usb to start fresh? I havnt seen anything about how to do this in my search.
July 6, 20169 yr If you really want to wipe your flash and start over again with a clean installation, the only file of any importance is your licence key, which is tied to that particular flash device. You'll find it in the config folder on the device and it is called Trial.key, Basic.key, Plus.key or Pro.key depending on its type. Copy it somewhere safe and reformat the flash with a FAT file system, naming the volume UNRAID. Then copy the files you downloaded from Limetech into the root of the device, run the make_bootable utility and, finally copy your licence key back into the config folder. However, from the scant information you provided, your problem looks similar to this one: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=50119.0 So perhaps your unRAID server is fine, after all, and you should look to your client for the cause of the problem.
