Support for Appels Lightning?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Short question:

Dose unRAID support Lightning connectors?

I'm thinking using 1 Lightning connector in my soon-to-be-build unRAID server for my monitor, mouse, keyboard etc to my VM.

Sorry if this question have already been answered but I couldn't find any information about this on this forum and on Google.

unRAID is a Linux distribution, plus added modules for unRAID functionality.  It probably has all the hardware support that almost all users need.  But for a specific and new technology, it just needs the first person to try it and see, see if it works.  If not, then either the current Linux kernels don't have support for it yet, or LimeTech configured it out, as unused by anyone.  They strip out anything not necessary, because unRAID runs entirely in RAM.  So if it doesn't work, email LimeTech support with a request for it, and they will often add it to the next release, if it's possible to do.
