Array offline

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Hoping someone can help here.  I have pro license with the key file, running version 6.1.9.  I have been using this system for years and the whole system was rebooted 3 days ago.  I have done some upgrades over the years, but nothing has been touched on this system for a long time. I stopped my array to add an additional drive.  When it stopped it kicked me to "invalid  configuration" page stating the following message Too many attached devices. Please consider upgrading your registration key." it is a 24 bay system but is only using 10 or so drives.  Not sure how to proceed, don't want to loose any of my data.  Please let me know if there is any other info I can supply to help me figure out what's going on here.

Rebooting it has brought it back online but I will need to add more drives to this system shortly wondering if anyone can see why I'm not able to stop add some drives and start the array?

Some of your diagnostics are empty folders, in particular the config folder. Might be an issue with your flash drive. Most troubling is it can't read super.dat, which contains your drive assignments. There was an issue that would sometimes cause that file to be truncated. Try stopping and restarting the array then post another diagnostic.
