I currently am not able to test this so I figured I would ask. When accessing information on a share in my array (other than the share assigned to my VM), do my VM's know to talk directly to the array or does it use an internal network connection to access the shares on the array or how does this work?

    VM accesses array just like any other computer i.e. through network. Only that it's 10Gb virtual network so you dont lose any throughput in most scenarios.
