3 in 2 HDD Cage

Hey Everyone,

 

I am looking for any recommendations for a 3x 3.5" in 2x 5.25" HDD Cage for adding 3 more drive to my unRAID setup that is available for UK delivery.

I also have this kind of backplanes.

They are available from different vendors though.

Mine are Chieftec builds called SNT-2131.

 

My experience is good overall, but I wouldn't recommend running hot drives in those bays.

The drives are pretty cramped and cooling at a reasonable noise level can be an issue!

The buttons on the right do they control the power to each drive?

I use one of those in each of my unRAID servers with no issues.
