September 3, 20169 yr I love the automatic update for the plug-ins but I run Internet on HughesNet (aka crapnet) which has a time at 2am to 8am to download large masses of data. The automatic updater does not allow for setting a time frame to perform updates. The same would be great for dockers too like if I have to make a change to Plex I stop it and then restart it updates but a scheduler of some sort would be great. I have tried blocking the request sites on my router but very cumbersome to make sure every site is blocked during normal hours and open during the mass download hours. I am burning through my data usage way too fast per month. I hate to turn off automatic update since it works very well. Any help on an enhancement would be outstanding. Thanks ahead. Greg
September 3, 20169 yr CA's auto update times is adjustable if you install the dynamix schedules plugin. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
September 3, 20169 yr Author Oh really maybe that is why I couldn't do it. I have your CA Auto Update but I could not figure out how to base it on schedules. Thanks
September 3, 20169 yr Oh really maybe that is why I couldn't do it. I have your CA Auto Update but I could not figure out how to base it on schedules. Thanks After you install that plugin, go to Settings, Schedules, Fixed Schedules and you can adjust the times for the hourly, daily, weekly, monthly schedules. Next to them you'll see what is currently using them. Most systems will only have logrotate, and CA's autoupdate. Autoupdate always runs on the daily schedule, but you can adjust the time.
