Installing VirtIO Drivers for Server 2012 R2

Featured Replies

Hi All

Sorry if this has  been documented i had a look with no luck. (Noob here)

im currently trying to install a Virtual Machine running windows server 2012

my issue is that when configuring the VM (watching the limetech instruction guide youtube) the setup allows you to choose the Driver ISO location before starting the VM this option is not in 6.2 to what i can see? what is the process now? i try to browse media for driver within the vm but its not in the CDROM drive as shown in the video. (screenshots attached can assist with troubleshooting.

Change to advanced view (on the top right), though if the default Windows Virtio drive ISO is configured on the VM settings page (again activate advanced view to see it) it should be loaded by default.
