September 23, 20169 yr Finally up and running with my first build. I want to run preclear on my 4 new drives (I have the faster version on my flash). Its hard for a new user to know what is old information and what is current when looking for instructions. So i want to ask here first before i possibly waste a couple days doing it wrong lol. So how do i run it on all drives at once? I want to use the faster version because they are 6TB drives heh. I have a monitor attached to the unRAID box for now. Edit: Figured out the alt f2 thing hehe. Every time i try to run it i get https://i.imgur.com/Y9dbT09.jpg https://i.imgur.com/gqKndsi.jpg And then i cant do anything and need to reboot same thing with /boot/preclear_bjp.sh -f -A /dev/sdc Edit: Kinda want to try the plugin but i can't find out how to use it with the faster version and iduno how to add files to my flash without removing it and sticking it in a windows machine. It's zip tied inside my case.. doh hehe Edit: Tools -> New config work but now i get.. https://i.imgur.com/p37oA2H.jpg fml Edit: i got the plug in up and running but i have no idea what options to set Which script (gfjardim or Joe L) is faster? What operation and read size should i use? Also, can i do more than one (need to do 4 disks) at a time? Sweet first 7 hours of unRAID.... *sigh* goodnight Edit: couldn't sleep.. tried https://i.imgur.com/uIkgyZR.png Hangs on starting.. press preview and get .. /boot/config/plugins/preclear.disk/preclear_disk.sh -c 1 -f -J /dev/sdf root@unDERP:/usr/local/emhttp# /boot/config/plugins/preclear.disk/preclear_disk.sh -c 1 -f -J /dev/sdf sfdisk: invalid option -- 'R' Usage: sfdisk [options] [[-N] ] sfdisk [options] Display or manipulate a disk partition table.
