Cant get preclear to run :/

Featured Replies

Finally up and running with my first build. I want to run preclear on my 4 new drives (I have the faster version on my flash). Its hard for a new user to know what is old information and what is current when looking for instructions. So i want to ask here first before i possibly waste a couple days doing it wrong lol.

So how do i run it on all drives at once? I want to use the faster version because they are 6TB drives heh. I have a monitor attached to the unRAID box for now.

Edit: Figured out the alt f2 thing hehe. Every time i try to run it i get

And then i cant do anything and need to reboot :/

same thing with /boot/preclear_bjp.sh -f -A /dev/sdc

Edit: Kinda want to try the plugin but i can't find out how to use it with the faster version and iduno how to add files to my flash without removing it and sticking it in a windows machine. It's zip tied inside my case.. doh  hehe

Edit: Tools -> New config work but now i get..

Edit: i got the plug in up and running but i have no idea what options to set :/

Which script (gfjardim or Joe L) is faster? What operation and read size should i use? Also, can i do more than one (need to do 4 disks) at a time?

Sweet first 7 hours of unRAID.... :( *sigh* goodnight

Edit: couldn't sleep.. tried
