Fix Common Problems appdata error

Featured Replies

Hey guys.

I have to remove the SSD cache so I can use it in my new build, but I encountered this issue in Fix Common Problems. Basically it warns me that docker containers can get broken when the mover is invoked and the appdata is moved to the data. I'm running 6.2.1, and I seem to remember hard links or some thing like that was fixed in 6.1.9, so am I safe? I did invoke mover manually to clear off the appdata folder from cache for safe removal of the SSD.

Additionally, it would be nice of @Squid to remove this error if this has become deprecated.

I'm still hoping this would get answered because I have finished moving appdata and have removed the SSD completely. Then I have set cache drives to zero and have started the array. The appdata warning is still there even when I rescan.

Anybody with advice?

Technically, you're fine and the description in FCP hasn't been updated to reflect softlinks working in that test.

But, why would you want appdata to get moved to the array?  It really should be in a cache-only share anyways

Because I don't have cache drives anymore :|
