November 4, 20169 yr USB key was corrupted, so I purchased the recommended SanDisk. Installed UNRAID to the new USB stick, and was able to boot to it. Put old key in per the instructions, and requested a new key, but after 15 hours I have not received it, so I can't boot my array. Is this process automated? If it is just a matter of waiting, I am fine with that, would just like to know. Additionally, I know where 2 of the 7 drives + Parity in my array were in order, but not sure about the remaining 4. Is there any way of determining this? Very concerned about losing my data. TIA.

When you say "USB key was corrupted" are you talking about the key file which is located on the USB flash drive in the config folder, or are you talking about the USB flash drive itself? Not sure what would happen with the automated process if the key file was corrupted. The old key file is used to blacklist the old flash drive, so if the key file was corrupt it might not work. You might need to contact limetech support.
November 4, 20169 yr Author Sorry, the flash drive itself. Been waiting 15+ hours for the new Key URL. Emailed support, no response. Any idea about the HDD order?
November 4, 20169 yr In your OP you said "Put old key in per the instructions". Were you also talking about the old flash drive, and not the key file? It is the key file that is needed for getting a replacement key file. Is there actually something wrong with the old flash drive? Or does it just have filesystem corruption? Did you try putting it in your PC and letting it checkdisk? If the flash drive is still usable there should be no reason to replace it. Even if checkdisk doesn't work you could probably just reformat and reinstall.
November 4, 20169 yr As for the drive order, as long as you don't accidentally assign a data disk to the parity slot your data should be OK.
