Take a look here: Intel Core i3/H55 Integrated Graphics SuperCombo With the newly added support of the supermicro card and the x1 slot you can get quite a few drives in this system with them all being on the PCIe lane. That supermicro card you're thinking about, it needs a x4 slot, doesn't it? Yes it does, but the x16 slot should work for the card... assuming Asus did not do something to the motherboard PCIex16 slot to restrict only VGA card use. Link to comment
