Unable to add any smb permissions after changing local master.

I'm trying to have my hyper v disks on my tower however windows can't access them to modify because it needs a Service permission. When I go into the smb permissions all I see are the unix, nobody, etc permissions and when I try to add or change I am unable to add permissions from my main windows 10 box over the network to the tower.  I initially said yes to local master on the tower however I believe I need to set it to no to add my permissions.

After setting the local master to no I am still unable to add any specific windows permissions to any shares.  I'm currently evaluating unraid for both personall and professional use.  Seems like it'd be terribly inconvenient to have unraid use active directory in a workgroup to fix the problem. Could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial on smb sharing in unraid or perhaps provide some insight into what I may be missing?
