I'm about to build an unRaid-server, but wonder if I can use this card that I already have in another computer..? Might save a few $$.. ;)

Tried to search but no luck..

 

Also, I have 4pcs 320GB, 3pcs 500GB and one 300GB-drive, all Seagate and all Sata 300. No problems here I guess..should work..??

 

I'm going for a Stacker-chassi with the Asus P5LD-VM that people seem happy with.

    The linux 2.6 kernel change log indicates that the normal Promise driver (sata_promise) does support the TX4310.  You want to make sure the card bios is set up for 'jbod' mode.  Use latest unRAID OS 4.0-beta and please report back your results.
