mounting a network drive (from ACD)

Featured Replies

Hi all

i am after some help hope you can help, i have rclone running on an ubuntu VM with rclonebrowser (great bit of software) that means i can upload to my ACD,

I am hosting some files on there that i would like to play on plex, at the moment i have the same ubuntu vm playing them through plex server which is working ok but seems a little slow to start to play both local and networked files. i have a beefy i7 and 32gb ram and am sharing 4 cores and 8gb for my vm which is on an SSD.

i understand there will be a delay in playing but is there any way i can mount my acd drive which is unencrypted so plex can see it and play the contents, ive tried to do this via terminal on SSH but i keep getting fuse errors which i dont get on my linux disto,

i just want a read only mount point i can place in mnt/disks/acd but it refuses to play ball, is there something i am missing, i noticed the rclone plugin has some mount point setups but ive tried that too and cannot really find any info from the rclone site apart from how to do it manually in linux which woulds on my vm!

i would prefer to keep unraid running with plex as a plugin, instead of having a dedicated vm running it.

thanks all in advance
